After fifty years of living, we all have things we hate
But today, we come together to celebrate
So here's to us, to fifty years gone by
To all the laughter and the tears we've cried
We celebrate each wrinkle and gray hair
For it's a symbol of a life well-worn and fair
So let's toast to our journey, come what may
For we've come this far, and that's something to say
We don't care about the superficial
It's the love and laughter that's truly beneficial
So here's to us, in all our imperfect glory
Fifty years strong, and still writing our story.
